The style of the band may be defined as a drum'n'bass arranged for punk/hardcore setting, which is an extremely rare and aggressive mixture. Members of band are experienced but exploring musicians, rooted in Warsaw underground scene. They previously took part in bands such as Setting Woods On Fire, Artybishops, Kolorofon and Long Long, which performed at numbers of concerts, festivals (Heineken Opener, Audioriver, Free Form, Jarocin) and released striking records (Kolorofon's Cpt. Skala, Artybishops' Take The Artybishops - both from 2010). Owls Are Not What They Seem published their first EP online at bandcamp.com.
